As a Principal Project Manager, you will lead new projects and programs to success through intentional leadership and mentoring of project managers. You will guide them in professional conduct, project management methodology, use of project management tools, interpersonal skills, and navigation of project processes including gateway, change request, and rapid approval processes. You will also participate in coaching, mentoring, and training others.



Your Responsibilities:

• Understand the organization's strategy and future direction, including inherent challenges and opportunities.


• Ensure project or program objectives and priorities align with the company's strategic direction.


• Direct activities of individuals from multiple business areas to achieve results in a matrixed organizational structure, managing across the organization to achieve project objectives.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree and 7 years of experience leading large, complex initiatives with increasing responsibilities in project management or continuous improvement, or 11 years of equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.


• Proven track record of achievement with the ability to identify and exceed customer expectations.


• Experience working in diverse environments.


• Proficiency in managing projects that incorporate both traditional Waterfall and Agile frameworks, ensuring seamless integration and effective delivery.


• Excellent continuous quality improvement and/or project management skills.


• High level of intellectual curiosity and openness to change.


• Strong conflict resolution, facilitation, and negotiation skills, adaptable as needed.


• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.


• Creative problem-solving skills, able to anticipate, identify, and eliminate problems.


• Ability to collect and analyze feedback and data, transforming findings into project-level strategies.


• Ability to work independently with little to no direction and make decisions as needed.

• Experience in the Healthcare industry.
