Location: Fairfax, VA

Description: Our client is currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team near Manassas, VA


*Day Shift
*8 hr shift



This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including mechanical, electrical, and HVAC repairs, to ensure smooth operation of wind chime production equipment.
  
  


• Disassemble/Reassemble equipment such as gearboxes, cylinders, pumps, valves, etc. and repair/replace worn or defective parts
  
  


• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime in the production process.
  
  


• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
  
  


• Troubleshoot, install and/or repair ac/dc motors, starters, relays and drives
  
  


• Perform routine building maintenance such as repairing broken or leaking plumbing and working on building electrical writing
  
  


• Troubleshoot PLC systems and other control systems
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field is a plus.
  
  


• Proven experience as a maintenance technician, in facilities maintenance or related field.
  
  


• Strong knowledge of manufacturing equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and logic controllers.
  
  


• Proficient in English, both written and verbal
  
  


• Proficient in using hand and power tools
  
  


• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  
  


• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
  
  


• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  
  


• Welding and machining experience desired
