Computer World Services Corp. (CWS) is seeking qualified candidates to support an engineering effort in the National Capital Region (NCR). The work scope is to plan, design, test, build, implement, deploy, and transition Information Technology (IT) solutions to meet various customer requirements in the NCR. Selected candidates will provide customers with seamless transitions to leading edge solutions which meet security requirements and provide operations and maintenance for development and test environments and provide specialized support for mission specific systems and applications.

The OUSD P&R Mission Application Analyst is responsible to plan, manage, and deliver IT solutions for efficient business processes to the Department of Defense's Innovative Readiness Training Program.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, review, evaluate, and administer a new database in two phases:

• 1) rapid development and implementation of a simple local and interim MS Access database, populated with existing Excel data, followed by


• 2) delivering a long-term integrated program IT solution with a known return on investment to ensure efficient and effective program stewardship and positive stakeholder engagements

• Analyze data requirements and design, revise, and gain approval for forms to capture program data from internal and external sources


• Develop queries, reports, and analyses of program data


• Support internal and external stakeholders' IT requirements and integrate services related to the program's data, public website, and existing software-as-a-service cloud collaboration platform

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering, cybersecurity, or a related field plus MBA or equivalent experience


• Experience in requirements analysis; problem solving; systems analysis and integration; database design, performance, security, and management


• Data maintenance; software development and web design fundamentals; system administration; server management


• Written and verbal communication skills to communicate with senior government and private sector leaders; business process improvement


• IT solution business case and return on investment calculations


• MS Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Developer Network License, Visual Studio, MS Visio, SharePoint Designer, Mozilla Firefox, SFTP Connection Software

Certifications

• CompTIA Security +, or higher

Security Clearance

• Active DOD security clearance (SECRET)

Other (Travel, Work Environment, DoD 8570 Requirements, Administrative Notes, etc.)

• Onsite support within government facilities located across the National Capital Region (NCR)
