Ultimate Staffing is urgently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager f or a well-established entertainment venue in the Metro East. This is a 1 year contract with a possibility of going permanent at the end of contract. Ideal candidates will have 5 years finance experience in a high-volume environment, a Bachelors degree in a related field, and be 21 years of age or older.

Job Title: Accounts Payable Manager
Pay rate: $30-33/hr (DOE)
Status: Contract (1 year)
Location: Metro East-St. Clair County IL (Remote)
OVERVIEW:
The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for the tracking and payment of all bills received for the daily operations of all company properties. Working closely with the Purchasing department on all properties, the Accounts Payable Manager will coordinate all payments in a timely manner to reduce waste and increase transparency in the Accounting Department.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct and participate regularly in departmental and company meetings.
Provide exceptional customer service, and always treats others with respect.
Has overview of all property's payable accounts.
Participate regularly in departmental and company meetings.
Accurately code received invoices into the accounting system.
Process payments according to established schedule
Coordinate with the Purchasing department to verify payments required.
Reconcile Company credit card statements and verify any outstanding debts.
Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports.
Work to assist the CFO/Controller to eliminate waste.
Prepare and maintain a schedule of payments.
Prepare checks for mailing.
Oversee on-line bill payments.
Maintain an accurate virtual and physical filing system of invoices.
Conduct investigations into irregularities within the A/P division.
Exercise initiative to improve efficiency in processes.
Learn, implement, and stay current with all rules, laws, regulations, policies, and Internal Controls pertaining to the accounting department.
QUALIFICATIONS
5+years finance experience in a high-volume environment, preferred
High School Diploma/GED, required/Bachelor's degree preferred.
Great Plains and/or Stampli experience and p revious casino experience, highly preferred.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Must have excellent mathematical skills.
Must have 10-key experience.
Must have strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, preferably in Excel.
Must be able to work Weekends and Holidays when needed.
Able to effectively communicate in English via verbal and written.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a state Gaming License
