About This Role:
The Website Product Owner is a Director level position on the Global Marketing team and will be responsible for driving the evolution of Slalom.com balancing optimization based off website performance and needs to improve the customer experience. This role will define the strategy, elevating needs to improve the user experience and ensuring initiatives are built upon a strong and scalable technical foundation. Beyond building a sustainable strategy and roadmap, this leader will also assess future needs, anticipate gaps, and implement solutions that keep our digital presence ahead of the curve based off customer experience data and insights from trackable website performance KPIs.

What You'll Do:
Website strategy and experience optimization
Be the end-to-end owner from website strategy creation to overseeing the necessary changes across website user experience, infrastructure, and related feature updates
Lead the creation of the Slalom.com strategy ensuring optimal website experience through a high-performing and scalable web infrastructure.
Drive strategic web recommendations and feature updates based off what content, Slalom services, and customer impact we need to surface on the site
Own the strategic direction of website capabilities, ensuring enhancements support an optimal user flow on Slalom.com
Implement best practices for usability, navigation, and accessibility to create an intuitive and frictionless user experience.
Use behavioral data and research to drive UX improvements, ensuring that the site evolves in response to audience needs and preferences.
Drive iterative improvements based on A/B testing, behavioral analytics, and UX research to maximize site effectiveness.
Product ownership
Continuously optimize Slalom.com, keeping the target audience and user experience in mind.
Evaluate emerging technologies and future-proof Slalom's website, ensuring that new innovations align with long-term strategic goals and are based on data insights, including competitive analysis.
Ensure adherence to SEO, security, compliance (GDPR, accessibility), and governance best practices, making sure the website operates at enterprise standards.
Oversee site optimization efforts, leveraging data and performance insights to improve engagement, load times, searchability, and content effectiveness.
Manage the CMS and connected technologies in connection with the Slalom.com roadmap and overarching strategy
Ensure that technical execution aligns with strategic goals, balancing operational efficiency with innovation.
Manage backlog and implementation of new features, including backlog management, prioritization, and sprint planning activities
Team leadership and stakeholder management
Lead and mentor a team responsible for website development, content management, analytics, and publishing.
Foster a collaborative environment where cross-functional teams work seamlessly to deliver continuous website improvements..
Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, ensuring that web updates and enhancements support overarching company goals.
Partner closely with marketing stakeholders (design, content, demand gen) and business stakeholders to enhance site performance, elevate opportunities for optimization, and align on Slalom.com's impact on business priorities.
What We'd Like From You:
10+ years of experience in technical website management, digital product ownership, and marketing technology strategy.
5+ years of experience managing enterprise CMS platforms (AEM preferred) and overseeing digital infrastructures.
Strong background in managing website experiences and flexing between strategic oversight and technical product management
Strong background in web analytics and performance optimization techniques.
Proven track record of leading high-impact web projects in a highly matrixed, fast-paced environment.
Ability to present complex technical strategies to non-technical senior stakeholders in a clear and actionable way.
Nice to Have:
Experience with automation, personalization, and AI-driven website enhancements.
Familiarity with SCRUM/agile methodologies and iterative development cycles.
Familiarity with managing connection and roadmap alignment between web experience, content marketing, and design

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the targeted base salary pay range is $148,000 to $200,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
