We are seeking a dynamic Regional Director of Business Development to lead business development initiatives across our Pennsylvania market. This role is responsible for directing the development and continuous refinement of the facility's business development plan and oversight and implementation of innovative strategies to optimize financial outcomes for outpatient services.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business administration or related behavioral health area, or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
A minimum of five (5) year experience in a health care business development management position with extensive business development experience resulting in measurable results; preferably in a medical or hospital environment.
Experience with managing multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines.
Knowledge of hospital operations and psychiatric programs preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
Ability to interpret data and develop initiatives based on interpretation of data.
Ability to communicate in age/disability/cultural sensitivity manner to patients, patient's families, and referral sources.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Regional Director Business Development will have 5+ years of business development/marketing experience, preferably in a medical or hospital setting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Strong communication skills, data analysis expertise, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential. Travel within assigned territory is required.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Strategic Planning
In consultation with each CEO in the region, designs, develops, implements and manages the marketing philosophy, policy, procedures, and strategic goals for each facility.
Works with multiple CEOs in the region to develop a comprehensive strategic plan for growth of the Haven service lines at various current locations in the region and for new expansion projects and partnership and staffing.
Market Analysis
Under the direction of each CEO in the region, conducts a comprehensive market analysis to support the strategic growth of the current service line as well as adding additional identified needed service at each facility.
OP/IOP Oversight and Development
Oversees and implements the planning and development of innovative strategies to optimize financial outcomes for outpatient services.
Under the direction of each CEO provides operational support for current outpatient (OP/IOP) services and all future expansion of outpatient services.
Responsible for providing leadership support in assistance to the CEOs of the outpatient service lines in a manner that supports the organizational mission.
Financial Operations Management
With CEO support, engages in financial operations management including operating within budget, improving revenue streams, and maximizes resource utilization at multiple sites.
Business Development
Direct the development and continuous refinement of the facility's comprehensive business development plan within the scope of the changing healthcare environment.
Consult with CEOs and senior management teams in overseeing, developing and implementing facility business development strategies.
Maintain and develop key business development accounts and respond to all business development opportunities.
Monitors satisfaction of patients, referral sources, and other customers.
Special Projects Management
Engages in project management including managing timelines and deliverables.
Market Knowledge
Maintain current awareness of changes in the industry through self-education, peer education and professional and community involvement for the betterment of this position and the hospital.
