Job Description:

A busy AV-rated litigation firm seeking a skilled and proactive Paralegal to join their team and support their attorneys in delivering high-quality defense services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal procedures and documentation, exceptional organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail. As a Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in assisting our attorneys in all aspects of case management, from initial investigation to trial preparation.


The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following duties/tasks:

• Meets with attorneys, clients, and other professionals to discuss assigned cases or projects.


• Draft legal documents including routine pleadings and motions, affidavits, subpoenas and discovery.


• Researches and analyzes statutes, regulations, legal articles, judicial decisions, and other legal sources; provides written analysis to attorneys.


• Interviews clients and witnesses and prepares summaries of their statements.


• Prepares, organizes, stores, and retrieves case files, which may include evidence, exhibits, depositions, pleadings, exhibits, and other items.


• Assists attorneys with trial preparation, which may include attending trials and hearings.


• Develop and maintain records regarding billable hours spent on specific cases.


• Performs other related duties as assigned.
