Description: Our client is currently seeking a Manager Home Health and Hospice on site in Portland, OR.
6 Month Contract
Essential Functions:
Perform essential job duties and other assigned tasks.
Ensure fluency in English to perform job functions.
Adhere to the organization's Mission, Values, Vision, Promise, Code of Conduct, policies, and standards.
Direct Patient Care Roles:
Maintain essential competencies for specific areas and populations served.
Responsibilities:
Recruit and retain qualified staff.
Provide staff orientation, development, and ongoing training.
Develop and implement training programs as required.
Manage workflow activities and assign duties to meet patient/customer satisfaction.
Formulate and implement policies and procedures.
Develop and achieve unit goals and objectives.
Complete employee performance evaluations.
Establish and monitor performance standards.
Review productivity and quality reports, providing feedback.
Conduct staff meetings and address compliance issues.
Resolve conflicts, commend employees, and implement disciplinary actions.
Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and standards.
Stay updated on insurance and government payer requirements.
Lead and manage team performance to meet service-level agreements and productivity goals.
Review department metrics, identify issues, and implement solutions.
Identify and escalate payer trends and issues.
Schedule and coordinate staff based on volume and coverage needs.
Extended Responsibilities:
Develop relationships with leadership and Revenue Cycle management.
Stay current on trends, systems, and regulations.
Contribute to policy and procedure development.
Coordinate with training and compliance staff.
Maintain knowledge of department systems and functions.
