Description: Our client is currently seeking a RN - Electrophysiology in Charleston, SC!




Job Title: Travel RN - Electrophysiology Location: Charleston, SC (Roper Hospital)



Schedule:

• 4 x 10-hour shifts
  
  


• Primarily: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM
  
  


• Other possible shifts: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM or 10:00 AM - 8:30 PM as needed
  
  


• Includes on-call weekends/holidays and potential Cath Lab floating
  
  

Compensation:

• 
  Base Hourly Pay: $20.00/hour
  
  


• 
  Housing Stipend: $1,600.00/week
  
  


• 
  Meals/Incidentals: $500.00/week
  
  


• 
  OT Rate: $30.00/hour (first 40 hours), $40.00/hour (after 40 hours)
  
  


• Total Gross Pay: $2,900.00/week
  
  

Department: Cardiac Cath Lab



Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with all EP Lab procedures including ablations, LAAOs, and device implantations (Pacemakers, ICDs, Bi-V-ICDs).
  
  


• Operate EP monitoring/stimulation systems, 3D mapping, and X-ray equipment.
  
  


• Perform patient education, comfort, and monitoring during procedures.
  
  


• Maintain a sterile environment and equipment readiness.
  
  


• Support quality improvement and safety initiatives in the lab.
  
  


• Collaborate with cardiologists, electrophysiologists, patients, and internal staff.
  
  

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of cardiac arrhythmias and EP/Cath Lab procedures.
  
  


• Proficiency in operating EP equipment and supplies.
  
  


• Experience in managing cardiac complications.
  
  


• BLS and ACLS certifications.
  
  

Licensure:

• Active RN license in South Carolina or compact/multi-state RN license.
  
  


• RCIS or RCES credentials preferred.
  
  

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school (BSN preferred or required within 5 years of hire).

Additional Notes: This role specifically requires prior EP experience and familiarity with advanced procedures like ablations. Scrubbing experience is a plus.
