Project Overview:
The Visual Comms team is a cross-functional internal visual production team that produces internal and external visuals embedded in various YouTube platforms. These visuals resolve user issues and explain complex topics. As a Video Producer for the Visual Comms Team, you will oversee video projects from concept development to final delivery. You will write scripts, drive milestone completion, manage timelines, work with third-party vendors, and communication across multiple stakeholders to ensure high-quality projects are delivered on time and within budget.
The ideal candidate is highly organized and detail-oriented with a strong understanding of video production workflows and excellent writing and project management skills.
Overall Responsibilities:
Write, create, deliver, and manage video educational content.
Help with the planning process of video content.
Drive identification of appropriate presentation format, style, and design and ensure content accuracy.
Leverage, collaborate with, and help manage third-party content providers to deliver content as needed.
Provide guidance from conception to completion, including high-level feedback on format, narrative, visuals, voice, as well as line and copy editing for video content.
Top Daily Responsibilities:
Write support and educational scripts for YouTube products
Manage the full lifecycle of video production projects, including pre-production planning, on-set production, post-production, and delivery.
Develop and manage project timelines, and resource allocation, ensuring adherence to deadlines and financial constraints.
Collaborate closely with internal teams (e.g., creative, marketing, legal) and external partners (e.g., production companies, agencies, creators) to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Manage post-production workflows, including editing, color correction, sound design, and visual effects.
Ensure all video content meets YouTube's quality standards, brand guidelines, and legal requirements.
Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Television Production, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Video production management, preferably within a fast-paced media or technology environment.
Ability to write, understand, and interpret video scripts around complex technical products and features.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex video projects from inception to completion.
Strong understanding of all aspects of video production, including pre-production, production, and post-production workflows.
