Responsibilities:

The Senior Client Development Director will work closely with internal partners such as private bankers, financial advisors, commercial bankers, and trust administrators to provide high-quality solutions to clients and construct customized business transitions and financial plans. He/she will be responsible for data collection and input, analyzing client data to understand current and long-term business and financial goals, and the ability to meet those goals, and developing customized solutions to assist clients in goal attainment through plan implementation and ongoing measurement.


  • Meet with internal partners and clients to review client objectives and develop a dynamic financial plan to meet client goals

  • Champion and advocate the firm’s portfolio solutions, thought leadership, client service standards and culture both internally and externally.

  • Stay up to date on continuing trends in financial and estate planning.

  • Work with client’s estate planning attorney to communicate goals and review draft documents.

  • Develop detailed wealth transfer recommendations in alignment with client’s goals and consideration of client assets.

  • Partner with internal Financial Planning group to field questions, develop strategy, and be the subject matter expert for tax and estate planning.

  • Create thought leader content on timely tax and estate planning topics to be shared with clients and internal partners.

  • Public speaking engagements conveying thought leadership on trust, estate and wealth management issues.

Requirements:

  • JD or CPA

The estimated salary range for this role is $160k - $220k along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience.
