Position Title: IT Compliance Analyst


Location: Phoenix, AZ



Your role

We are seeking an experienced IT Compliance Analyst to join our organization. The IT function at Digital Realty takes responsibility to manage and secure some of the world's most critical infrastructure on behalf of our customers. The IT Compliance Analyst will be a detail-oriented, self-driven and forward-thinking individual who can support and facilitate IT SOX and Privacy processes. The candidate will work closely with the IT Data Protection and SOX programs


What you'll do
• Facilitate Data Protection tasks such as Privacy Impact Analysis and Data Loss Prevention remediation triaging.
• Facilitate SOX compliance activities, such as, working with Control Owners to complete control attestations.
• Support with performing privacy impact assessments (PIA) and data mapping activities.
• Assist in ensuring successful and effective execution of IT data protection and SOX goals, implementation, as well as exceptional services in ongoing operation of DLR's IT Data Protection and SOX objectives.
• Support the implementation of privacy policies and procedures across the organization and provide guidance to ensure business processes adhere to policies and procedures.
• Works closely with internal stakeholders to evaluate and identify any gaps and supports finding solutions & strategies to ensure full compliance with data protection & privacy regulations and requirements.
• Identifies and reports privacy risks appropriately
• Support Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) within the IT organization.
• Participate in projects to verify business practices align with company privacy program including regulatory requirements.
• Support the development and Implementation of metrics and dashboards for reporting and monitoring the effectiveness of the IT data protection program.
• Completes other duties as assigned.



What you'll need

• An understanding of global privacy and SOX 404 regulations and frameworks, such as, Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), GDPR, CCPA an CPRA.
• Ability to clearly communicate verbally on both a formal and informal basis with Business Managers and Directors.
• Possessing a working understanding of risk management, organization-wide compliance programs, and corporate communications.
• Proactivity and an ability to work independently.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Good research skills with an ability to analyze and interpret complex information.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent training and certification.
• 2+ years of experience in a Data Protection or Privacy role or with a focus on data protection or Privacy
• Any level of experience with SOX.
• Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks such as GDPR, CCPA, SOX, etc.
• Ability to support IT assessment and audit efforts is a strong bonus.
• Excellent communication and partnering skills.
• Good project management, multitasking and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Excel and other Microsoft Tools.
