Medical Assistant & Patient Service Assistant - Upcoming Openings



Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking enthusiastic Medical Assistants and Patient Service Assistants for upcoming opportunities across Maryland, specifically within Baltimore County. These roles offer the chance to work alongside top healthcare providers, delivering excellent patient care and support. Positions are available on a contract and temporary-to-permanent basis, offering both full-time and part-time schedules.

Responsibilities:




Medical Assistant:

• Assist with patient intake, vitals, and basic clinical procedures.


• Prepare examination rooms and assist providers with patient care.


• Administer injections, EKGs, and specimen collection (if applicable).


• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.


• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and clinic protocols.

Patient Service Assistant:

• Greet and check in patients, verifying insurance and personal information.


• Schedule appointments and manage front desk operations.


• Handle patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service.


• Process payments and assist with billing inquiries.


• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in patient records.

Requirements:

• 
  Medical Assistant: Certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred but not required for all roles.


• 
  Patient Service Assistant: Experience in a healthcare front office or administrative role preferred.


• Strong communication and organizational skills.


• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.


• Must be able to travel within Baltimore County, MD for assigned roles.

Work Hours:



Monday to Friday, 1st shift, with schedules varying by assignment.

Compensation:



Competitive pay ranging from $18.00 to $23.00 per hour, based on experience and assignment.
