A Brief Overview


The Supervisor, Centralized Business Office is responsible for the day-to-day workflow and supervision of one area of the Centralized Business Office. This includes working as and monitoring performance of that assigned area. The Supervisor is expected to be a subject matter expert in the area. Direct supervision of assigned staff to include: coaching, mentoring, monitoring, evaluating, and utilization of progressive discipline as required.


What you will do

• Coordinates and monitors the daily work requirements of staff in the assigned area. 50%


• Reviews daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required to ensure staff performance meets or exceeds established KPI metrics as dictated be CBO Leadership team. 25%


• Analyzes and assists in resolution of more difficult tasks and provides feedback to CBO Leadership. 15%


• Works collaboratively with internal and external customers to ensure assigned area meets or exceeds established CBO KPI metrics. 5%


• Monitors and coaches staff to ensure team complies with AU Health mission, vision, and values. 5%

Qualifications

• High School Diploma General Required and(


• GED General Required or


• Bachelors General Preferred or)

• Minimum 3 years Healthcare reimbursement. Required


• Minimum 5 years Hospital or Professional Billing. Preferred

• CPC - Cert Prof Coder
