Job Summary | AThe Von Allmen School of Accountancy at the University of Kentucky invites applications for a Visiting Assistant, Associate, or Professor of Accountancy to begin August of 2025 or January of 2026. This is a full-time, non-tenure eligible faculty position with an appointment period of up to one year with the possibility of renewal for a second year. A terminal degree (Ph.D. or DBA) in accounting or a related field is required. Applicants must have completed their terminal degree before their anticipated start date. The ideal candidate will have college teaching experience, professional experience, and professional licensure (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA). In addition, the ideal candidate will have an active research agenda and a desire to be engaged in the research activities of the School of Accountancy. The successful candidate will teach up to four courses per year. The Director will determine the number of courses and preps per semester and other assigned duties based on the candidate’s experience, School of Accountancy needs, and areas of expertise.
