BCForward is currently seeking a remote contract Epic professional.




Position Title: Epic Consultant



Location: Remote



Anticipated Start Date: 03/31/2025

Expected Duration: Initial 3-month contract





Job Type: Remote





Pay Range: $79/r - $83/hr on W2


Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job


responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem,


etc.).


We are seeking an experienced and motivated Epic ClinDoc/Orders/ASAP consultant.



Job Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of emergency department & inpatient clinical workflows, patient engagement, and the use of Epic's healthcare information systems to support inpatient and urgent care


• Manage application enhancements, break-fixes, standard applications changes and maintenance activities


• Lead and drive discussions to understand the business requirements and the impact of integration on the overall business architecture


• Develop solutions following established technical design, help shape requirements; and resolve ambiguities


• Run the daily calls/scrum meetings with respect to deliverables and build the weekly status reports in the areas of project delivery to be reviewed with managers and leadership


• Anticipates, prepares, and escalates upcoming issues/risks


• Interact with client stakeholders, team members and offshore development, support team and other cross-functional teams


• Experience with all phases of the application support & maintenance including design, build, test, implementation, and maintenance of the application

Qualifications:

• Current Epic ASAP, Orders, and/or ClinDoc Certifications


• Deep understanding of application support and enhancement lifecycle, managing service levels, metrics, and status reporting


• Develops solutions for client problems through application of personal experience and standard methods and tools; validates solutions with subject matter experts


• Ability to develop and maintain documentation of business processes /system enhancements.
