Job Description:


We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in renovation and restoration projects within the hospitality industry. This role involves supporting the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist the Project Manager in all phases of construction projects, from initial planning to completion.

  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.

  • Monitor project progress, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.

  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.

  • Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.

  • Assist in resolving any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.

  • Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and address any concerns.

  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with local building codes and regulations.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on renovation and restoration in the hospitality industry.

  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
