Your new role
Design and develop mechanical systems for Data Center Facilities, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and compliance with mission-critical requirements.
Utilize AutoCAD and potentially Revit for effective design and documentation.
Apply diversified knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices to a variety of assignments in related fields.
Make informed and independent decisions regarding engineering methods and techniques.
Consult with supervisors on critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters, seeking guidance as needed.
Develop test procedures and provide support during the commissioning of mechanical systems.
Provide engineering solutions that incorporate life cycle cost analysis and energy efficiency considerations.
Evaluate existing facilities and systems relative to the as-built conditions which affect the design.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience in designing mechanical systems for Data Center Facilities.
Strong knowledge of Cooling Towers, Chillers, Glycol Systems, Air Cooled Systems, In-Row Cooling/Rear Door Heat Exchange, and other Mission Critical equipment.
Ability to integrate reliability and efficiency into mechanical system designs.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to apply engineering principles to diverse assignments.
Ability to effectively communicate technical solutions to diverse audiences both orally and in writing.
Experience with advanced techniques and the ability to modify and extend theories, precepts, and practices in the field.
Capability to develop test procedures and support the commissioning of mechanical systems.
