Our client is currently seeking to hire a high-performing Project/Field Engineer who will have a career path in Estimating & Preconstruction.


Initially, you will be given exposure in the Field/Office on one or two projects, end to end and then pivot towards becoming a full-time Estimator. This exposure will allow you to truly see how the GC fully operates.


Our partnership client is a Top 20, Colorado-rated ENR Design Build General Contractor with experience across a range of Commercial and Civil Projects.

Your new role


As you work towards becoming an Estimator, you will have exposure across a range of Commercial Projects - from Education, Municipal, Multi-Family, Tis & more, providing support to the local teams both in the Field & in the Office.


This includes-but is not limited to - aiding in the Planning & Design, Quality, Contractual Elements, and Stakeholder Management etc


It is a wide-ranging role that will require you to spin multiple plates - however, it will give you great end-to-end exposure of Cradle to Grave Projects that will greatly benefit you as you grow into a full Estimator and valued part of the Preconstruction Team.


What you'll need to succeed

• Prior experience in Commercial Construction - open to portfolio but K-12 or Municipal is desired


• An Engineering/Construction related Degree, followed by 1-2 Years+ with a GC in a similar role


• Basic level understanding of Commercial Construction & Estimating (RFIs, Takeoffs, Pricing etc)


• Ability to manage multiple projects at once


• A passion for Preconstruction as this is where this role will lead you
