Looking to hire an Assistant Project Manager for a rapidly growing General Contractor headquartered in Midtown Manhattan. The core markets they operate in are historic rehabilitation, full gut and renovation of multifamily properties, and expansions. Core Responsibilities:
Support Project Management team from bidding through close-out
Participate in project scheduling, bidding, take-offs, procurement, and other tasks as needed.
Develop, log, schedule, and review all project documentation and submittals.
Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, permits, and other project documentation.
Work with Project Manager and subcontractors to manage punch list items
Average projects are valued between $20M-$50M.
Projects can vary from renovations, historic rehabilitation and reuse, full gut and reno of multifamily properties, expansions of historic properties, and adaptive reuse - all with a focus on multifamily construction.
To be successful in this role:
2-3 years' experience within a commercial general contractor or subcontractor
Hungry to learn all aspects of Project Management
Currently operating in a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager position for a commercial general contractor.
Construction related degree preferred, ideally in Construction Management. Relevant experience would also be considered.
