Essential duties and responsibilities: Responsible for all activities related to electrical and control integrity which includes:
Design, install, inspect, maintain, operate, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and adjust various pneumatic, hydraulic, electric, electronic, and Programmable Logic (PLC) control systems
Perform preventative maintenance checks on pumps, compressors, drivers, and auxiliary equipment
Perform Inspection and Maintenance (I & M) checks on control systems
Maintain electrical switch gear and power distribution
Perform advanced engine/compressor/pump analytical testing. Lead efforts to develop and implement changes as a result of the analytical testing
Evaluation/development/implementation/maintenance of facility grounding systems
Install, analyze and repair security/intrusion systems
Responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of all facilities and equipment as needed
Perform all work in compliance with Company standards, procedures, and regulatory and tariff requirements
Identify, report, and correct safety and environmental concerns
Complete appropriate documentation and paperwork
Oversee the construction, maintenance and/or work activities performed by 3rd parties
Mentor fellow employees when the opportunity presents itself
Maintain a regular, dependable attendance and high level of performance
Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
Minimum Requirements Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Experience / knowledge and/or familiarity:
Understand and operate various electronic test instruments
Good record of safe work practices.
Working knowledge and/or experience preparing drawings of electrical circuits
Working knowledge and/or experience reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical blueprints and diagrams
Working knowledge and/or experience applying and interpreting results from common electrical measurement instruments (voltmeter, ammeter, ohmmeter, oscilloscope, etc.)
Knowledge of National Electric Codes
Ability to estimate installation, operating and maintenance expenses associated with electrical and control systems.
Ability to complete work assignments with minimal supervision in an acceptable time frame
Certifications, licenses, registrations:
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and driving record satisfactory to the Company and its insurers
May be required to achieve and maintain certifications as required to perform job duties
Competencies, skills, and abilities:
Basic computer skills (knowledge of MS Office, various operation systems and other company software)
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals)
Good verbal and written communications skills
Must be able to work with a team, take direction from supervisor(s), adhere to required work schedules, focus attention on details and follow work rules
Ability to complete work assignments with minimal supervision in an acceptable time frame

Physical demands:
Physical ability to lift as much as 50lbs, bend/stoop, kneel and climb stairs/ladders
Climb to heights exceeding 150 feet
Ability to use hand tools and equipment, repetitive hand use such as simple grasp and twisting motion included
Working conditions:
Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
Respond to/address callouts and emergencies outside of regular business hours
May be required to carry a company-provided cell phone/pager, and be available to respond during working and non-working hours
Travel as needed
