Job Description



As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:

• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering.


• Review and analyze multi-faceted, larger-scale, or longer-term Software Engineering challenges.


• Contribute to the resolution of complex situations requiring a solid understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.


• Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent through work, consulting, training, military experience, or education.


• 10-12+ years of overall Java experience.


• Proficiency in Java 11/17.


• 5+ years of experience with Restful Webservices.


• 3-5+ years of experience with Microservices.


• 3+ years of experience with KAFKA integration.


• 3-5+ years of experience with Spring Cloud.


• Experience with CI/CD tools like Docker and Kubernetes.


• Experience with cloud technologies such as PCF, Azure, Amazon, or Google Cloud.


• LinkedIn profile required for submission.

Preferred Qualifications

• Financial background.


• Agile experience.


• Solution Architecture experience.


• US-based degree is highly preferable.

Additional Notes

• This is a backfill position.


• Part of a pilot program.


• Candidates must be strong communicators and able to interview in person.


• Understanding of the in-office requirement is crucial.

Project Details

• Part of a new engineering project to build a suite of solutions for the Global Control Room within Compliance.


• The team consists of 23 people across NJ, Charlotte, Dallas, Phoenix, and India.


• The project is in its third of four to five planned years, developing for the cloud with eventual release to Azure or Google Cloud.


• Cutting-edge technology in the environment, including Kafka and AI use cases.

• Financial experience is secondary to strong engineering and soft skills.

• 10-15 years of engineering experience.

• Ability to develop stories and liaise with assigned personnel.
