Salary: $60.00 USD Hourly - $105.00 USD Hourly

Description:
A leading global aerospace manufacturer is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support reliability and maintainability (R&M) initiatives for a commercial aircraft program. This role will involve cross-functional collaboration to ensure compliance with stringent certification requirements and continuous improvement in aircraft performance.



Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain critical R&M documentation, including System Safety Assessments (SSA), Fault Tree Analyses (FTA), and Failure Modes & Effects Analyses (FMEA).


• Utilize modeling, simulation, and data analytics to forecast and validate technical performance measures such as reliability and operational availability.


• Collaborate with design teams to implement reliability best practices, optimize system architectures, and reduce lifecycle costs.


• Leverage digital maintainability tools (virtual and augmented reality) to evaluate maintenance tasks and streamline training.


• Ensure R&M deliverables meet regulatory standards and satisfy export control requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.


• 8+ years of engineering experience, including commercial aviation or related industry.


• Proven expertise in reliability engineering practices and software (e.g., CAFTA, ReliaSoft, FaultTree+).


• Demonstrated experience in FTA and FMEA for complex systems.


• Familiarity with regulatory compliance and safety certification processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant engineering discipline.


• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologies.


• Background in multiple aircraft subsystems (propulsion, avionics, flight controls, hydraulics).


• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.


• Project management or technical leadership experience.
