Job Description:

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Strategy Development:

o Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies and initiatives to drive operational excellence.

o Identify opportunities for improvement and develop action plans to address them.

o Collaborate with senior leadership to align continuous improvement strategies with overall business objectives.

2. Project Management:

o Lead and manage continuous improvement projects from concept to implementation, ensuring timely and successful completion.

o Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress against established goals.

o Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and engineering, to ensure alignment and collaboration.

3. Process Improvement:

o Analyze current processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.

o Implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity.

o Conduct regular assessments and audits of processes to identify opportunities for improvement.

4. Training and Development:

o Develop and deliver training programs to build continuous improvement capabilities across the organization.

o Mentor and coach employees on continuous improvement methodologies and tools.

o Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting employee engagement and participation.

5. Performance Measurement:

o Develop and implement metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of continuous improvement initiatives.

o Monitor and analyze performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

o Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on continuous improvement activities and performance metrics.

6. Compliance and Safety:

o Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and safety requirements related to continuous improvement activities.

o Implement and maintain safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

o Conduct regular safety audits and address any identified issues promptly.

JOB KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Required Qualifications:



  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in continuous improvement, process improvement, or operational excellence, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.

  • Skills & Competencies:


    • Strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and tools (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).

    • Excellent project management and organizational skills.

    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

    • Proficiency in data analysis and performance measurement tools.


  • Certifications: Relevant industry certifications preferred (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Black Belt).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector.

  • Familiarity with advanced continuous improvement technologies and practices.

KEY CHALLENGES

  • Balancing multiple continuous improvement projects and priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

  • Ensuring efficient and effective implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to achieve operational goals.

WORK CONDITIONS

• Extremely light physical effort

• Typical office environment with occasional visits to project sites.
