Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Ready Mix Concrete Plant Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our concrete plant by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and repairing equipment as needed.

Roles & Responsibilities


  • Conduct regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs of concrete batch plants, conveyors, hoppers, and related equipment.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems to minimize downtime.
  • Perform welding and fabrication work, as necessary.
  • Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities and repair logs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Work closely with plant operators to identify and resolve operational issues.
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform on-call maintenance when required.

Qualifications & Requirements:


  • High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification in maintenance, mechanics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years' experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a concrete, asphalt, or aggregate production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Welding and fabrication skills (MIG, TIG, or stick welding) are a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor conditions.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
