Job Description:

Castleton Commodities International (www.cci.com) is hiring a Power Settlements Analyst for our Houston, TX office. Reporting into the Vice President, Power Settlements Manager, this position is responsible for the settlement of various domestic and international ISO's, bilateral, and environmental transactions.

Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate with trading counterparties and RTOs/ISOs to validate and resolve any discrepancies in settlement invoices.

  • Verify all settlements amounts have been received/paid in accordance with payment terms.

  • Match internal trade tracker with counterparties and trading agreements to ensure all trades are being properly captured.

  • Participate in daily, weekly and monthly settlement of physical and financial trading activities (Accounts Payable/Receivable).

  • Check physical and derivatives confirmations from counterparties/brokers and communicate to commercial teams of any disparities.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field of study.

  • 3+ years' settlements experience with ISO/RTOs and bilateral counter parties.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required. VBA programming experience is a plus.

  • Prior experience with CXL or similar ETRM systems.

  • Excellent customer service and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain confidentiality of client material.

  • Proven ability to prioritize and problem solve and deliver high level of quality service to clients daily under tight timeframes.
