A leading national law firm is looking for an experienced Litigation Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have two or more years of litigation defense experience. The candidate will be working on a variety of commercial litigation matters including extensive employment litigation work. The firm is requiring three days a week of in office work.
Qualifications
California Bar License
Minimum 2 years of experience as a practicing attorney, preferably in litigation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
Team player with a positive attitude
Experience in handling complex litigation matters
Proficiency in legal research databases and case management software
Responsibilities
Manage a diverse caseload, including all phases of litigation up through trial
Conduct thorough legal research and draft persuasive pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
Prepare for and take depositions of fact and expert witnesses
Prepare clients for depositions and defend depositions
Collaborate effectively with partners, other associates and paralegals
Draft discovery requests
Review and analyze case documents
