Job Description Summary:
Manufacturing - Hourly / Assembly / Inspection.
Location: Irvine, California.
Utilize skill and dexterity in sewing tissue and non-tissue components and tissue processing to produce medical devices in compliance with regulatory and company guidelines.
Job Responsibilities:
Use tools such as needles, scissors, forceps, specialized tooling, and microscopes for sewing valve components.
Execute receiving, trimming, fixation, die cutting, and measurements for Porcine Pericardium tissue per established procedures.
Operate equipment including fume hoods and press machines for tissue processing.
Perform verifications of completed steps against specifications and execute work in an assembly line.
Follow work instructions and SOPs, ensuring accurate documentation of traceable information on device history records.
Support additional operational processes as needed.
Assist Engineering with root cause analysis investigations for component nonconformance.
Maintain punctual attendance and work a full shift.
Perform general housekeeping to keep the work area clean.
Required Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in sewing, cleanroom environments, or the medical device industry required.
