POSITION SUMMARY

  • Receives and responds to call inquiries for potential admissions and generalized questions.

  • Responds to crisis calls

  • Obtains the required information to facilitate admissions.

  • Makes referrals for persons who are not appropriate for admission.

  • Completes prior authorization for services with insurance companies.

EDUCATION: Masters' Degree in Behavioral Health field.

EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 2 years healthcare experience; experience with crisis management or intake preferred.
