Essential Roles:

• Collections Oversight: Develop, implement, and monitor strategies for efficient collection of outstanding debts, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulations.


• Team Leadership: Manage and guide a team of collection agents, providing training, support, and performance evaluations to ensure team success.


• Customer Engagement: Communicate with customers to resolve outstanding balances, negotiate payment arrangements, and manage disputes professionally and empathetically.


• Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports on collection metrics, trends, and performance, using data to refine collection strategies.


• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all collection activities comply with legal and ethical standards, including consumer protection regulations.


• Collaboration: Work with other departments, such as finance, legal, and customer service, to streamline collection processes and resolve account discrepancies.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Experience: 2-4 years' experience proven experience in credit, collections, or accounts receivable management.


• Supervisor/manager experience within a collection agency preferred.


• Knowledge:
  
  
  • Strong understanding of collection practices, credit policies, and relevant laws/regulations (e.g., Fair Debt Collection Practices Act).
