The Loyola University Chicago Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing (MNSON) seeks a dynamic, visionary leader to serve in the position of Associate Dean of Innovative Partnerships and Faculty Practice. This leadership position brings exceptional opportunities for providing strategic vision and leadership for faculty practice and community and academic practice partnerships at the local, regional, state, national, and global levels. This is a 75% administrative and 25% teaching/scholarship/service position with 9-month faculty teaching responsibilities and a 12-month administrative contract.


The Associate Dean of Innovative Partnerships and Faculty Practice is responsible for the following areas:

• 
  Mission: Supports the mission of the MNSON and leads development and implementation of vision and strategy for mission-congruent initiatives related to partnerships and faculty practice.


• 
  Strategy and Oversight: Provides leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight for faculty practice, community and academic-practice partnerships, clinical education, and global initiatives.


• 
  Communities of Interest: Builds and nurtures interprofessional practice relationships within and beyond the university, working collaboratively with key stakeholders to enhance practice, global and community engagement, and clinical education initiatives.


• 
  Initiatives: Develops and expands faculty practice models in collaboration with new and existing healthcare and community partners; establishes cooperative agreements with practice partners to enhance clinical learning experiences for students; partners with the Associate Dean for Research and Scholarly Innovation to integrate practice scholarship with research.


• 
  Collaboration and Mentoring: Collaborates with Department Chairs to mentor faculty in developing clinical scholarship; facilitates scholarly dissemination related to practice-based innovations and partnerships.


• 
  Benchmarking and Accountability: Establishes clear metrics to assess practice and partnership initiatives, impact, and innovation; leverages internal and external benchmarking data to ensure accountability and continuous advancement of MNSON practice and partnership initiatives.


• 
  Funding: Identifies and secures external funding to support faculty practice and community and academic-practice partnerships; oversees the management and sustainability of funded initiatives, ensuring long-term impact and growth.

• Doctoral degree in nursing or a related field


• Eligible for Illinois licensure as a Registered Nurse


• Eligible for appointment at the rank of Clinical Associate Professor or higher


• A record of scholarship, consistent with the expectations of rank.


• Experience in developing and leading practice partnerships

Additional Salary Information:

This salary range is for a nine-month academic appointment. As Associate Dean for Innovative Partnerships and Faculty Practice, an administrative stipend will be added for a twelve-month service basis. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on a range of factors including, but not limited to, the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including years since terminal degree; training; field or discipline; budget availability; internal equity; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
