Job Description:

Our client, a professional organization, has an immediate need for a temporary Copy Editor. This person will support their team in Alexandria, VA for 2-3 months with a potential to extend the assignment. If you have 3+ years of copy-editing experience and can start immediately, apply today!


About the Job:

• Performing quality control and ensure proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc.


• Collaborate to refine content.


• Identify inconsistencies and then correct errors.


• Track requests, deadlines, and cycles using the CMS system.


• Ensure consistent branding and adherence to brand standards.


• Perform other copy editing tasks and assist with relevant projects as required.

About You:

• 3+ years of copy-editing experience are required.


• Experience with Monday.com and CMS systems.


• Strong confidentiality when handling sensitive information.


• Able to work independently with meticulous attention to detail.

About the Position:

• Pays $30/hr-$35/hr


• Temporary for 2-3 months.


• Hybrid 3 days/week onsite.


• Metro accessible in Alexandria, VA
