Job Description:

Shift: This role is 1st Shift, 7:00 AM-7:00 PM

Hourly Rate: $16.60 an hour + $.15 shift differential

SCOPE OF POSITION:

We are hiring for seasonal rice general labor. You will assist where needed and be qualified on all positions on the rice line. You will report directly to the Production Supervisor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide breaks to operators


• Dump rework and non-edible product


• Take out trash


• Clean up


• Drive forklift


• Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Ops Manager


• Must be familiar with plant safety rules and guidelines and be sure they are followed by self and all employees in the area.


• Can work effectively with other departments


• Must be responsible for GMP practices in work area and keep area clean


• Must be able to bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and climb stairs and ladders.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Will be Sanitation Qualified.


• Maintain a forklift license.

EXPERIENCE:

• Forklift Experience is a plus, but not required at time of hire.
