Our client is currently seeking a highly skilled IT Architect to join their team at the Business Technology Center in Tulsa. This full-time role involves leading the design and implementation of integrated data models and optimizing data processes to support extensive data volumes. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in transforming our data architecture to enhance business operations and decision-making processes. This position offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of technology with a focus on data solutions in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design and documentation of comprehensive data models and database structures.
Develop and oversee the data integration processes, including the management of ETL/ELT workflows.
Optimize existing databases and data pipelines to maximize efficiency and performance.
Implement new data platforms and technologies, ensuring they meet business needs and performance requirements.
Provide expert guidance and mentorship to team members, including data engineers and analysts.
Collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive forward project goals.
Ensure data solutions are scalable, sustainable, and aligned with organizational goals.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years' experience in data architecture, including designing and managing large-scale data systems.
Proven expertise in data modeling and database design, ideally within cloud environments.
Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms such as DataBricks or Snowflake.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage comprehensive data projects.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems.
Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively articulating technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Ability to mentor and lead teams, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
Experience in optimizing data processes and systems for enhanced performance.
Adept at stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
Relevant certifications in data management and architecture are highly desirable.
