About the Team

Workday's Business Evolution team works across the organization to identify and execute on strategic priorities and transformation initiatives aimed at helping the company scale into our next phase of growth and performance. This role reports to the Sr. Director, Business Evolution Strategy as part of Workday's Strategy & Business Operations team.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced transformation consultant to play a key part in driving strategic, cross-functional initiatives that will shape the future of Workday. This role will act as a centralized leader, guiding project teams to achieve ambitious goals, ensuring alignment across stakeholders, and effectively managing execution against defined plans. This role requires the ability to navigate complex organizational structures, influence decision-making, and communicate effectively with senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and facilitate cross-functional project teams: Drive alignment on project scope, objectives, and timelines, ensuring effective collaboration and execution across diverse teams.


  • Develop and manage integrated project plans: Define clear milestones, deliverables, and dependencies. Track progress against plans and proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues.


  • Stakeholder management and communication: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across different functions and levels, ensuring effective communication and buy-in on project direction and outcomes.


  • Develop and deliver executive-level presentations: Communicate project updates, risks, and recommendations to the Executive Steering Committee and other senior leaders, providing clear and concise insights.


  • Performance reporting and analysis: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and identify areas for improvement.


  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our transformation framework: Identify opportunities to optimize processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance our approach to organizational change.


About You

Basic Qualifications:


  • 10+ years of experience in management consulting, business transformation, or a similar role within a large, complex organization.


  • 10+ years of analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to structure complex problems, develop hypotheses, and conduct analysis to drive insights and recommendations.


  • 10+ years of project management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and deliver results on time and within budget.


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport, influence stakeholders, and present complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.


Other Qualifications:


  • Experience supporting a global go-to-market or sales organization.


  • Experience with organizational design, change management, or process improvement initiatives.


  • Familiarity with the technology industry and current trends is highly preferred


  • A passion for driving organizational change and contributing to the success of a dynamic and growing company.


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; MBA or Master's degree preferred.



Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $200,000 USD - $300,000 USD


Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $190,000 USD - $337,600 USD

If performed in Colorado, the pay range for this job is $200,000 - $300,000 USD based on min and max pay range for that role if performed in CO.
