Job Title: Medical Execution Director in tozorakimab team

Reporting directly to the tozorakimab Global Medical Head, the Medical Execution Director will be responsible for driving strategic alignment between the Global Medical Team (GMT) and the Medical Directors/Therapeutic Area (TA) Leads in the regions and markets, ensuring world-class execution of key medical initiatives in the field. Accountabilities
Global Strategic Plan Leadership
Lead development of disease area/brand Global Strategic Plan (GSP) and Operational Plan in partnership with Global Commercial team; drive Global Medical strategy to regions/local markets to ensure rapid, coherent adoption and implementation
Accountable for roll-out and implementation of all key Global Medical materials to the markets, including medical strategy documents, publications, clinical data, omnichannel strategy, and medical assets; track utilization & impact of Global Medical deliverables
Global Medical Team Leadership
Accountable for leadership and day-to-day management of the Global Medical Team (GMT), including GMT effectiveness and team member performance
Represent Global Medical on the Global Brand Team (GBT); responsible for medical strategy and performance updates at GBT
Continuous engagement with major market Medical Directors/Heads of TA/Brand and Field Medical Leads regarding strategic execution and medical performance
Launch Excellence
Represent Global Medical leadership on Launch Readiness Reviews and Strategic Brand Reviews to elevate visibility of Medical's impact; ensure Medical performance is prominent in the launch readiness and business reviews
Accountable for defining medical resourcing (e.g. field medical) requirements to deliver TA/brand strategy in partnership with regional/local medical leadership
Drive Medical Performance and Impact
Set and track disease area/brand Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that demonstrate impact of medical on accelerating launch excellence and advancing healthcare delivery
Lead medical performance updates at GBT/GPT/BPM LT meetings
Develop and pull-through Field Medical Strategic Plans (FMSP) in local markets; address strategic and execution gaps
Drive medical insights to GMT/GBT/GPT to inform disease area and product strategy
Partner with Global Medical Excellence to ensure consistent utilization of global frameworks, medical platforms, and dashboards
Essential Skills/Experience
Doctoral level degree: MD, PhD or equivalent experience, or PharmD or equivalent experience preferred
5+ years working experience in pharma industry
5+ years expertise in the relevant Therapeutic Area, i.e. respiratory diseases preferred
2+ years' experience working within country medical teams such as Medical Advisors or Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs)
Experienced in Global Medical Affairs or similar function and working cross-functionally across a large product team
Strong demonstration of strategic and medical leadership prowess at therapeutic area and/or senior leader meetings
Demonstrated track record in delivering new initiatives, capabilities and leading large scale impactful medical initiatives, desired
Demonstrated success in building and implementing multi-year strategic roadmaps
Experience leading teams with a track record of delivering results in a complex environment
Proven track record to build bespoke strategy and mobilize an organization to implement
Desirable Skills/Experience
Strong executive presence and ability to work collaboratively with global executive teams and leadership
Experience presenting to senior leadership; persuasive oral and written communication skills, including the ability to develop and deliver executive presentations
Proven track record in collaborating with internal and external colleagues in various geographies, cultures, roles, and hierarchic levels - enterprise leadership attitude
Understanding of the complex and evolving Medical Affairs space with insights about trends, opportunities, risks, and an understanding of external partners (payers, patients, physicians)
Ability to lead overall business and medical priorities while also being able to actively engage in more detailed execution discussions
Ability to fluidly flex between high level strategy and detailed tactics as required
Strong analytical mind-set and ability to quickly assess large amounts of information and distil into key messages and actions

The annual base pay for this position ranges from $233,644.00 - 350,466.00 USD. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program. Benefits offered include a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
