About the team

Calling all customer experience champions - we are looking for a data-driven, strategic marketer with a background in direct-to-customer and B2B2C communications.

We are highly collaborative and care deeply about building strong relationships with our partners. Together with our colleagues in Marketing Strategy, Market Insights, Marketing Analytics, Health Engagement, Product, Account Management, and more, we create thoughtful customer experience strategies with the goals of, a) helping people confidently choose the right plan for them, b) simplifying complexities of healthcare to enable customers to get the most out of their plans, and c) learning more about our customers and prospects to inform future efforts.

Responsibilities

As an Advisor, DTC and B2B2C Marketing, you will be a valued partner and leader across multiple bodies of work. In this role, you will:


  • establish refreshed B2B2C engagement models, including toolkits and communication best practices, aimed at simplifying customers' health care experiences and alleviating client admin burdens.

  • own strategy and development for future B2B2C engagements and deliverables (for products and broader customer-facing initiatives).

  • identify, map, and evaluate DTC communications across different customer journeys at the Cigna and Enterprise levels. This exciting and transformative work is expected to have an impact on our organization and will help inform your B2B2C efforts.

  • develop collaborative, data-driven communication strategies.

  • identify measures of success and from there, analyze and share results with partners.


  • partner with creative agencies to develop collateral, where applicable.

  • conduct user testing of existing and new B2B2C communications and/or collateral in partnership with CLM research.

  • build lasting partnerships with product, health engagement, solutions marketing, campaign management, and other teams.

  • own change management where needed.

Ideal candidates will offer


  • 4+ years of work experience in DTC communications, B2B2C communications, customer experience, marketing strategy, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated experience owning strategy and execution for DTC and/or B2B2C campaigns, B2B2C toolkits, and/or other B2B2C collateral.

  • Proven history of creating and owning complex, organization-wide initiatives requiring thoughtful collaboration, analysis, and execution.

  • Background presenting recommendations that reflect thoughtful analysis and clear plans of action to a variety of internal stakeholder groups.

  • Experience gathering, analyzing, and translating data to inform marketing strategies.

  • Design thinking and/or human-centered design-based experience a plus.

  • Healthcare experience preferred but not required.

  • Ability to work from a Cigna office 3 days a week, as directed by the business.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
