Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Business Office Assistant to join our team at Vineyard Post Acute. This full-time position plays a crucial role in supporting our administrative operations, ensuring smooth office functions, and providing excellent service to our residents and their families.
Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable/Receivable (A/P & A/R): Assist the Office Manager with daily accounts management and financial reporting.
Office Supplies Management: Order and maintain an inventory of office supplies, ensuring the office is well-stocked and organized.
Medi-Cal Applications: Provide guidance and assistance to residents and their families in completing Medi-Cal applications.
Resident Trust Funds: Manage resident trust funds with precision and in compliance with facility policies.
Bank Runs: Handle bank transactions, including deposits and other related tasks as needed.
General Administrative Support: Assist with other office-related duties as required to ensure the smooth operation of the business office.
Requirements:
Previous experience in office management, billing, or healthcare administration preferred.
Knowledge of Medi-Cal or similar healthcare programs is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient approach when interacting with residents and families.
Proficiency in office software (Microsoft Office, Excel, etc.).
Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow all compliance protocols.
