This opportunity is full-time, during first shift.


6:00 AM - 2:30 PM



In this role, you will:

• Perform a vital part of the patient care process by making sure laboratory specimens are properly processed, prepared, routed, and stored


• Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement effective solutions


• Work in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and PPE requirements


• Utilize the Laboratory and Hospital Information System independently


• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control

All you need is:

• High School Diploma or equivalent


• Medical terminology


• Previous training or experience in surgical pathology specimen collection or processing


• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills


• Must be able to differentiate colors.


• Must be able to understand directions, communicate and respond to inquiries; effective interpersonal skills are required


• Ability to stand for long periods of time

Bonus points if you've got:

• 1 - 2 years of related experience in a medical laboratory setting.


• Knowledge of histology specimen processing


• Associate or bachelor's degree in a science related field
