Job Summary:

The candidate will provide technical leadership, subject matter expertise and individual execution within engineering projects requiring design, prototyping, analysis, testing, fabrication and integration of RF/microwave amplifiers and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• RF/Microwave components characterization
• Design and develop RF/Microwave circuits for broadband power amplifiers
• Perform hands-on testing and troubleshooting of RF/Microwave circuits
• Perform in-depth analysis of complex systems and arrive at conclusions in a timely manner
• Create technical documentation, test plans and reports
• Routinely collaborate with others in a team environment

• BSEE with 4 years of experience RF/design in related field or fresh graduate MSEE with solid knowledge of microwave engineering
• Knowledge of transmission line theory using Smith charts, impedance matching theory.
• Experience in EDA software such as Microwave Office or ADS
• Basic knowledge of modern RF measurement equipment such as network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, signal generators and oscilloscopes
• Due to the nature of Amplifier Research programs and products, applicants must have the legal right to work in the U.S. and additionally must be legally authorized to access export-controlled information and source code.

• Basic knowledge in semiconductor physics, FET models, GaN...
• Experience in 3D EM software like CST Studio or HFSS is a plus
• Interest in chemistry and material science is appreciated

Employee Type: Salaried

Salary Minimum: $110,000

Salary Maximum: $130,000
