Functions as the Program Manager for the Department of Sports Medicine plans administers and coordinates daily administrative and educational activities of ACGME-accredited Sports Medicine Primary Care Fellowship and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Fellowship. Collaborates with Program Director to establish didactic curricula, surgical skills training, rotation schedules, sports coverage and other essential aspects of fellowship education. Functions as the program coordinator for the Athletic Training Residency Program. Supports fellowship with administrative tasks such as grant submission, travel arrangements, and maintaining accurate records of evaluations and program data. Support recruitment efforts, organize interview process for fellowships utilizing ERAS and SFMatch systems, and facilitate onboarding and off-boarding of fellows. Supports clinical education for outpatient athletic trainers, licensed practical nurses, and medical assistants. Oversees development and implementation of a comprehensive onboarding for clinical skills.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree in relevant field may be desirable. 4 years of relevant experience required. 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred.
Completion of an approved education program in athletic training and/or related health science field, State of Ohio Athletic Trainer license preferred.
