Job Description:

Revenue Controller



Our client, a fast-growing technology company in the robotics and automation space located in Wilmington, MA, is seeking a Revenue Controller for a short-term contract. This role will focus on revenue accounting, project system oversight, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Ideal for someone with strong technical accounting skills and experience working in SAP.


Responsibilities:

• Oversee revenue accounting processes and ensure compliance with ASC 606


• Review contracts and apply appropriate accounting treatment


• Manage customer projects and financial data in SAP


• Support month-end close, reporting, and audits


• Monitor unbilled revenue, deferred revenue, and related metrics


• Guide internal teams on revenue policies and procedures


• Assist with financial reporting and SOX compliance


• Contribute to process improvements and ERP system initiatives


• Serve as point of contact for external auditors


• Support and mentor junior team members

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance


• 10+ years of revenue accounting experience, including leadership roles


• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
