HOURLY RATE RAGE: $26.30 - $39.32
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF CLASSIFICATION:
Direct and assist in the operation of over dimensional and multi-axle (truck) vehicle applications.
Direct and assist in the operation of large industrial mobile cranes.
Direct and assist in escorting, permitting, and moving heavy equipment throughout the Company.
Direct and assist in construction and general maintenance of substation yards, structures and equipment.
Work on elevated structures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Maintain and repair cranes, hoists and other rigging equipment and their controls at all Company facilities.
Perform all related duties pertaining to the NASC Hazardous License.
Lift material / equipment weighing up to 75 pounds.
REQUIREMENTS OF APPLICANT:
Must become familiar with the Company's operating standards, policies, safety instructions, and directives pertaining to all
assignments.
Must be a high school graduate or equivalent with additional technical training desirable.
Must have a minimum of four (4) years rigging experience.
Must have a minimum of four (4) years of experience in the operation of large mobile industrial cranes.
Must have a minimum of four (4) years of experience in the operation of over dimensional multi-axle vehicles.
Must have good electrical and mechanical aptitude including a good working knowledge in use of common hand and power tools.
Must have a valid CDL Class A Maine Driver's License and any other permits or licenses requirements for the job.
Is subject to the Company random drug and alcohol testing policy.
Must pass a rigging qualifying exam.
Must be able to perform essential functions of classification.
Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions.
Must have the ability to work in a team environment.
Must be able to work extended work hours as required.
Must reside within 45 minutes of the reporting location.
Must maintain a telephone and provide the Company with a telephone number.
Must work in a manner that does not jeopardize the safety of themselves and others.
