Edelman is looking for a Senior Account Supervisor (SAS) to join our growing U.S. Health team. This is an incredible opportunity for a strategic communicator with a passion for healthcare and pharmaceutical communications to partner with some of the most recognized brands in the world. What You'll Do

• Lead and manage integrated communications programs for major healthcare and pharmaceutical clients

• Drive the creation and execution of communications plans tied to clinical and commercial milestones, including data releases, regulatory approvals, and brand initiatives

• Serve as a daily client contact and trusted advisor-addressing client needs thoughtfully and effectively

• Manage internal and external communications deliverables with precision and polish

• Develop and execute integrated media strategies across earned, owned, and social channels

• Build strong relationships with media, partners, and third-party influencers to deliver results

• Supervise junior staff through mentorship, coaching, and feedback to help them grow

• Contribute to business growth by identifying client opportunities and supporting new business efforts

Basic Qualifications:


    • A minimum of five years of full-time experience in public relations and/or related fields (e.g., advertising, management consulting, media)

    • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as public relations, communications, journalism, business, or related disciplines

Preferred Qualifications


    • Demonstrated experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical communications

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives

    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining high standards

    • Proven track record of success managing large-scale, fast-moving communications campaigns

    • Established media relationships and ability to drive earned media in both trade and top-tier outlets

    • Experience developing strategic media plans and writing media materials with limited oversight

    • Familiarity with healthcare regulatory communications (e.g., data milestones, FDA approvals)

    • Experience with campaign launches, media training, milestone announcements, and events

    • Working knowledge of TV, radio, print, and digital media channels

    • Understanding of satellite media tours and media production terminology is a plus

    • Leadership skills, including experience supervising and developing team members

    • Solutions-oriented mindset and ability to bring proactive thinking to client challenges

$80,000 - $120,000 a year

An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
