Job Title: Lead Estimator


Location: Houston, Texas


Experience Required: Minimum 5 years in estimating for roading, TxDOT projects, siteworks, and underground utilities.


Role Requirements:

• Extensive experience with TxDOT projects, roadways, bridges, and siteworks.


• Strong understanding of underground utilities for roadways and bridges.


• Proficiency in cost estimation, project budgeting, and financial analysis.


• Ability to read and interpret engineering plans and specifications.


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for roading, TxDOT, siteworks, and underground utility projects.


• Analyze project plans and specifications to determine scope and requirements.


• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information.


• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.


• Track and manage project costs, ensuring estimates are accurate and competitive.


• Present estimates and bid proposals to senior management and clients.


• Monitor and update estimates based on project changes and developments.
