Requires frequent travel using a company-provided vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
Use a self-dispatch system or contact dispatch department to receive daily assignments.
Arrive at the first scheduled location at the start of the shift or leave home 30 minutes prior.
Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment at each site.
Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams as ordered by physicians and transmit images for radiologist review.
Regularly check voicemail for facility communications and maintain contact with dispatch every 30 minutes when needed.
Adhere to the company dress code, including wearing the provided uniform and name tag, and carrying a company phone.
Respond to urgent communications within 15 minutes.
Attend required meetings and training sessions.
Required Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited diagnostic ultrasound program.
Valid certifications, health clearances, and operational documentation.
A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Professionalism and adherence to workplace policies regarding substance use and background checks.
Basic proficiency in operating smartphones and computers for tasks like printing, scanning, and emailing.
Familiarity with regional geography and travel routes.
Ability to maintain and report equipment status.
Willingness to train new technologists.
Physical Requirements:
Must meet physical demands for equipment handling and patient care, with reasonable accommodations available.
