Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sr. Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a high-availability data center environment, ensuring the effective operation and maintenance of server systems and related infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Provision, install, configure, and maintain server systems hardware and software.
  


• Monitor system integrity and availability, reviewing logs and verifying scheduled jobs.
  


• Perform regular security monitoring and backup operations to safeguard data.
  


• Manage user accounts and access permissions as per requests.
  


• Troubleshoot and resolve minor to complex issues, providing Level 2 and Level 3 support.
  


• Coordinate remote maintenance and break-fix activities for critical infrastructure.
  


• Ensure compliance with data center design standards and change management protocols.
  


• Document processes and maintain reports for asset management and project tracking.
  

Skills

• Strong knowledge of data center technology and critical facilities infrastructure.
  


• Proficiency in server systems administration and IT hardware management.
  


• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  


• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  


• Ability to work flexible hours and on-call as needed.
  

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  


• IT Support experience within a high-availability data center environment.
  


• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) or equivalent.
  


• Experience with ITIL practices and project management.
