As a General Laborer working in the Warehouse, you will be responsible for the physical and systematic movement of material through the facility to support manufacturing, as well as other job duties at the facility as time and business conditions allow. Incumbent expected to support all company programs such as Lean, 5S, TPR, etc.

SIGN ON BONUS:
The Company will also pay you a $500.00 signing bonus subject to tax withholdings after the successful completion of ninety (90) days of continuous service and another $500.00 signing bonus after six (6) months continuous service, for a total sign on bonus of $1000.00.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Primary responsibility is to ensure materials are provided where they are needed for manufacturing personnel.
The foundation of this role is to allow manufacturing personnel to devote their full attention to tasks that add value to the process.
Follows a standardized process to ensure production flow is uninterrupted and unobstructed. The physical route and standardized work will be provided for each manufacturing area to minimize variation to the production flow.
Become familiar with BaaN materials functionality.
Standardized work:
A physical route will be identified to minimize variation to the production flow.
Visits to workstations and operators will be in the same order and at similar intervals.
The speed and frequency of rounds will be dictated by the needs of the process. Everybody needs to be constantly supplied with what is required to maintain production flow.
Responsibilities will include material handling functions, transport of finished product, remove waste, update status boards, and train less experienced personnel.
Count all material being put away identifying discrepancies to the material specialists and PIC supervisors. May include POU inbounding, REC transactions, or inventory transfers using Baan.
Make simple use of drawings or sketches to identify unmarked parts.
Locate /move fixtures for internal use or supporting outsourcing to other factories of external suppliers.
Operate data collection equipment (computers, portable terminals, etc.). Transactions would be to maintain receipts, inventory transfer, POU inbounding, inventory displays, material movement.
May operate forklift trucks, overhead cranes, or any other material handling equipment as necessary to lift, transport, store, and position a variety of raw, semi-finished, and purchased parts, components, materials, and items. Use of equipment based upon certifications.
Maintain equipment as required reporting any discrepancies.
Perform physical counts for inventory reconciliation as required.
May be introduced to other job duties at the facility as time and business conditions allow.
Other duties as determined by supervision.
JOB REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS
High school diploma or general education degree required.
Basic Math skills required.
Must be able to pass forklift certification within first 90 days of employment.
Possess basic computer skills such as working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to multi-task.
Must be a self-starter; requiring little or no supervision.

This position will work in both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions, depending upon the task assigned. Incumbent will work in a typical manufacturing environment including the use of solvents, adhesives, hydraulic oil, petroleum products, etc.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Incumbent may be required to climb ladders.
Must follow all established safety rules and procedures.
