Engineering Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and leading the execution of engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required specifications by managing project teams, coordinating design and fabrication processes, monitoring progress, and resolving any technical challenges that may arise, while adhering to safety and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. The EMP will work directly with engineering staff and provide scheduled updates to Engineering and Operations management on project status and execution to schedule.

The Engineering Project Manager will be responsible for the project's overall engineering delivery, managing various disciplines.
Help to ensure discipline design deliverables meet the project's needs, including functioning as intended, on time and within budget.
Demonstrates fundamental project management processes. Methodologies, tools, techniques, and ability to adapt them to the organization.
Integrates the project with cross functional
Understands the applications used in the company. Demonstrates ability to adapt project management processes to organization product life cycle.
Understands the impact of a project directly to and across various groups within the organization.
Understand the impact of a project to the overall business
Integrates business goals into the project scope and deliverables
Develops metrics to track progress through the design cycle of the product.
Elicits cooperation from senior management and other departments
Mediates between stakeholders and team members
Understands formal and informal organizational structures
Manage projects in a manner that assures safety, reliability, environmental and human impacts are mitigated while meeting the project goals (including but not limited to Schedule, Budget, Safety and overall Quality)
Provide or direct the appropriate level of project documentation during the design lifecycle of the project
Define project scope and requirements, ensuring alignment with client needs and technical specifications.
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budget estimations.
Schedule and facilitate design reviews based on milestones set during project.
Ensure design review notes are compiled, vetted for necessity and implemented into scope if required.
Identify potential risks and mitigation strategies.
Assemble and lead a cross-functional project team, including mechanical & electrical engineers, designers, technicians, and subcontractors.

Project Management Professional certification is preferred
Competency:
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) and three to seven years related experience and a Bachelor’s degree are required
