Job Responsibilities:
The Maintenance Engineer Intern will be working to improve our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). A CMMS helps to manage work orders, PMs, and show where resources are used. Through analytics, it will highlight which assets are consuming our resources and will help showcase team's workloads. We have a system in place (FIIX) and need to make it more robust by adding prints, diagrams, bill of materials, photos, troubleshooting guides etc. Candidate will work closely with Manufacturing Engineers, Controls and the maintenance team to get information into the system and develop improvements. Candidate will be spending time in the plant to learn the equipment's operation and be able to understand what is needed to be added to the system.
Position Overview
Improving our Computerized Maintenance Management System in order to increase equipment reliability and uptime.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Working with Manufacturing Engineers, Maintenance Management and Facility team in order to ensure PM efficiency, reduce equipment downtime, and extend asset life.
